Sheamus Hunt5 StarMy AC went out last night. The Friday before Mothers Day. I tried everything that I could think of to get the system up and running. I called Air Ref in the morning because of my service agreement. They were at my home in just a few hours. The AC Guy Arron was fantastic. Clean, Neat, Kind and assuring. Alexandria5 StarThis is a great company who has definitely earned the near perfect Google rating! They're competitively priced, always professional, good technicians, and reliable.
They installed my ac unit and as it has gotten older, I've had them out to service it several times when I've had a problems (you know, the annual AC problem that always happens in the summer).
I believe they also did some duct work for me to add vents in my bathrooms....gotta appreciate anyone willing to go into a Florida attic in the summer.
I had one instance where I had a (I think newer) tech misdiagnose a problem that resulted in the actual problem causing a leak that flooded/ruined my floorboards. (The drain pan was clogged with algae.) While I wasn't happy about this, they did subtract the cost I paid for the misdiagnosis off the total price of the correct repair job.
Even though it didn't cover the cost or time it would take to repair the floor, I was very happy they were willing to make it right. This retained me as a customer - few companies are so willing to acknowledge a mistake. In the new tech's defense, the drain in the drain pan is unconventionally and inconveniently located in the back. I can understand why someone with less experience might have overlooked this. (Despite the misdiagnosis, I do think he is a good tech. Mistakes happen.)
I HIGHLY recommend Air-Ref Co. They are an honest company who will get someone out to repair your AC quickly, even in the summer...and they will not charge you an arm, leg, and first-born child.
The folks in the office are also a pleasure to talk with. Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly - a pleasure to speak with.

Nathalie Champagne5 StarJust wanted to give a big shout out to Air-Ref Co. Inc !! Our A/C finally died on us this past weekend after 20 long years of keeping our home cool. I'm so lucky to have the best A/C company, Air-Ref, in town! The past 6 years or so they have helped maintain our old unit until its very last day by properly maintaining it. And when that day came this weekend, they helped us find the best fit for our home and budget.
