I purchased my unit in January 2022 through Lowe’s thinking that I would have the benefit of Lowe’s. The sales person was very quick to say that the installation could be done quickly, even offering for the next day, but I knew that they had to get authorization through my HOA which the sales person Andrew told me they would get (he lied). When it came to the installation, I was horrified to find that they put a huge cover over the outside of my house for the line to go up through the attic. When this was discussed, nothing was said about there being anything on the outside of my building Although it was mentioned about “the attic”. The entire installation was an ordeal, I had to fight with my HOA, Lowe’s and Cool Bear for months. Finally, I was able to have PBC inspect and of course there were issues. Final inspection took 6 months. I have had regular maintenance from other companies as I do not trust Cool Bear and two years later I’m having the same problems I had with my 20 year old unit they replaced. Side note, satisfaction phone calls shouldn’t be made with the installers standing right in front of you; no they weren’t neat and yes they left a mess inside and out.

I purchased my unit at Costco in January 2022, a brand new Lennox. Before making my decision, I consulted with Frankie, who assured me he would provide all the necessary information to make the right choice. Consequently, I opted for Lennox, Costco, and Cool Bear. However, upon the team's arrival for installation, it was evident that they lacked experience. Typically, installation takes around four hours, but after seven hours, the unit remained uninstalled, with numerous issues arising. They claimed it was too late to continue and promised to return the next day. Consequently, I spent one night without AC, during which Frankie completely ignored my calls and my discomfort. The following day, Cool Bear sent a more experienced technician, who immediately noticed the problems with the previous day's installation and attempted to rectify them. Since then, I have noticed that my BRAND NEW unit emits loud noises upon activation, something that never occurred with my old AC. Despite several maintenance attempts by Cool Bear, last weekend I discovered a persistent high-pitched sound. Frustrated with Cool Bear's unreliable same-day scheduling, I decided to seek assistance from a different company recommended by a friend. Upon inspection, the new technician discovered a refrigerant pipe leak within the unit inside the house. Essentially, all the freon had escaped due to a poorly welded copper pipe. This substandard workmanship resulted in the leak occurring just two years after installation. I have included pictures comparing the original job done by Cool Bear with the superior workmanship of the other company. Cool Bear may excel at sales and convincing to sign, but their service and installation have cost me a lot of money and headache in the long run .

We needed to replace our aging, old AC system with two leaking coils. Compared with local companies then decided on a Costco contractor. During my home estimate visit, Fernando (the sales agent) was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He did a nice job presenting our options and was very courteous and well prepared. They installed a Lennox Elite 18 SEER 5-Ton AC system in about 6 hours from start to finish and removed the old unit. It's also convenient that, if you purchase a competitively priced annual routine maintenance contract, they extend the labor warranty to 10 years (to match the parts warranty) for as long as you keep the agreement of $220 per unit for 2 visits per year. The installation team, led by Yordanis Gonsalez, demonstrated high professionalism and expertise. Yordanis and the other technician exhibited exceptional knowledge and technical skills during the installation process. They were on time and worked hard to ensure the A/C unit was installed seamlessly. Yordanis, in particular, took the time to explain the installation steps, answer my questions, and did a neat, clean installation of the lines, etc. Not only did the team complete the installation promptly, but they also went above and beyond to ensure everything was in perfect working order before leaving.

Comfort Advisor. Very knowledgeable on company's history. Installers were very good at their job. There was a problem with the electric motor for the outside A/C unit. They ordered and replaced the next day. Recommend the company check their units prior to installation. If this happened during the hot summer days, it would have been very uncomfortable in the house. Fortunately, we are in the cooler months. Other than that, they were very respectful and accommodating, and did a good job of installation and follow-on cleanup.

Very solid professional installation of A/C unit and air handler. They rewired and plumbed lines very neatly, which will help to clean it. Everything runs quietly, and some of the ducting was increased for smoother air flow. Well done job, the installation crew answered all of my questions.
