Charged $680.00 plus $47.60, so $727.60 to clean a blower wheel and test the system!! Took full advantage of elderly people!!! They were just there three months prior and changed $400.00 for the same service. $1,100.00 in three months to supposedly clean the same duct work twice! They also have 10% off for senior discount and also 10% off for duct cleaning on their website, neither of which they applied to the bill of a 96 year old with no access to the Internet!

I wrote an unfavorable review following a visit by DL Folsom, and Hector the owner called me as soon as he read it. Rather than attempt to resolve my grievance, he stated he is canceling my account because he didn't like my review - Okie Dokie Hector, very professional! He then spoke to my relatives regarding my review, again very professional! In addition to my initial grievance with this company that charged $747 to clean a blower motor on a Thursday and the following Monday I had to have another company service the same unit for $288.

D L Folsom Air Conditioning & Heating Corp. This company installed a unit in our condo in southern Florida that was the worst install and an incorrectly sized unit. We have called Hector at Folsom Air many times and he refuses to take care of the problem. We told him from the beginning when we first met that we wanted a quiet unit that doesn't blow the air so fast. He told us that it was not problem and they would take care of us. He replaced the unit with the exact same sized unit that makes the exact same loud noise and the air actually blows faster and it is on the lowest speed. He did NOT do a load calculation to figure out what was best for us. We had to have an outside company come in to do the heat load calculation and recommend what we need. They said the unit was way over sized for our unit and that it needed to be swapped out with the properly sized unit. Due to the incorrect sizing of the unit it causes short cycling, noisier compressor operation, excessive blower noise, and high humidity levels. Folsom refuses to do anything. DO NOT USE D L FOLSOM AIR CONDITIONING. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
